yep. but stay calm: i think this week situation is gonna change.

i have no broken escudo due to the fact i purchased ESI Quatafire 610 firewire audio interface. analogue 4 ins, 6 outs, 2x midi in/out, max sampling rate 192 kHz.
yes, i’ve bought it knowing that there are issues with this hardware. but i believed also that everything can be solved with use of marijuana and beer, lesser gods and semtex. now i’m believing less.

this magnificent sounding, ugly designed box is supplied with the worst drivers ever happened to be aborted from decayed, severed off the body, anonymous engineer’s head from ego-sys staff. this is fucking nightmare, i won’t get into details here, but i am on the brink of surrending myself and returning this troublesome item to the dealer, along with dead fish and horse’s head.

tonight i take my final chance with this challenge (challenge, because i know this thing works fine - on my old laptop. on the contrary - it doesn’t work on my main studio pc DAW.) it may be tha firewire driver. or firewire chip. i don’t feel like buying new mainboard to utilize this interface…
or do i? in this case, you dudes will never receive your copies of promised cd and i will be damned. fuck.
